New MPP licences
Information regarding the new licences negotiated by the Medicines Patent Pool with Gilead. There are three licences
1) The Form Sublicence for existing TDF licensees (this is for those licencees who took the earlier 2006 TDF licence. For them the original licence will be amended according to the terms of the new one)
2) Form Sub-licence for new sub-licensees (This is for new sub-licencees who did not take the earlier 2006 TDF licence)
3) The Gilead – MPP licence (This is the main licence agreement between Gilead and the MPP)
4) The press release by the MPP on the announcement of the licence ( 12 July 2011)
5) Q&A on the licences - an updated version in light of the various critiques:
Please note the terms and conditions of both sub-licences are the same (only the beginning defers depending on whether they took the earlier 2006 sub-licence or not)
